In addition, paper-based records of operatorto-operation assignments could not easily be crossreferenced and utilized to support future staff planning. It was difficult simply finding enough qualified operators who were available, and even more difficult to trace their qualifications and availability to a specific role during a certain shift on a particular date. It was of the utmost importance for the client to be able to manage the proper and most efficient utilization of their trained operators in all their manufacturing facilities.
